Very predictable result when fourth rankedMount Gambier Pioneers (6-2) beat on the road 13th ranked Bendigo Braves (3-6) 90-75 on Sunday. Mt.Gambier dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Bendigo Braves 's 32. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Mt.Gambier made 8 blocks. It was a great evening for forward Akech Aliir (200-2000) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds. International swingman Nick Marshall (196-1999, college: Clarke) helped adding 24 points and 5 rebounds. Mount Gambier Pioneers' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
