Regular Season Round 6: Camberwell - McKinnon 104-97

The most important game in the last round took place in Melbourne between third ranked Cougars (5-3) and tenth ranked Camberwell (2-5) on Sunday night. Cougars were defeated by Camberwell in a tough game on the road 97-104. The best player for the winners was forward Luke Liesegang (203-1997) who scored 32 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. American point guard Christopher Elder (180-1989, college: St.Francis, IL) chipped in 27 points and 7 assists. Elder is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Shaquille Maharaj (196-1997, college: Camosun) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Adam Anderson (193, college: St.Rose, NY) added 22 points and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Camberwell maintains tenth position with 2-5 record. McKinnon at the other side dropped to the fourth place with three games lost.
