Everything could happen in Alexandria at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth rankedBankstown Bruins and 9th ranked Sydney City Comets had identical 5-4 record. But Sydney City Comets were not able to use a home court advantage and were defeated by the opponent from Condell Park 98-82 on Saturday night. Bankstown B. looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Andre Wolford (188-1996, college: SFU, agency: One Motive Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 37 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). His fellow American import forward Naaman Hightower (201-1994, college: Sonoma St.) helped adding 12 points and 11 rebounds. Hightower is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Point guard Matthew Wacher (180-2003) responded with 20 points and 7 assists and center Johnny Crnogorac (216-1995, college: UTRGV) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds.
