Regular Season Round 23: BB Cougars - Warwick S. 80-104

There was no surprise in Hamilton Hill where 12th rankedCougars (3-8) were crushed by sixth ranked Senators (7-5) 104-80 on Saturday. Warwick S. forced 21 Cockburn C. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Todd Withers (202-1996, college: Queens, NC) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Guard Michael Harris (193-1999) helped adding 21 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Four Senators players scored in double figures. Filipino guard Seva Chan (187-1994) responded with 12 points and guard Matt Clifford scored 6 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Warwick S. moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Mandurah and Keilor T. Cockburn C. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with eight games lost.
