Regular Season Round 31: NGC Seahawks - Gold Coast R. 76-59

No shocking result in a game when third rankedSeahawks (9-2) beat 11th ranked Rollers (3-7) in Runaway Bay 76-59 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for forward Mikaela Ruef (191-1990, college: Stanford) who led the winners with a triple-double by scoring 23 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists. Guard Miela Goodchild (180-2000, college: Duke) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Four Seahawks players scored in double figures. Guard Kate Deeble (173-2003, college: Wake Forest) came up with 14 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Myah Selland (185-1998, college: S.Dakota St.) added 15 points respectively for Gold Coast R. in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. NGC Seahawks moved-up to second place, which they share with Manly Warr. SE and Townsville F. Loser Rollers keeps the eleventh position with seven games lost.
