There was an upset when higher rankedTigers (7-9) lost to sixteenth ranked United (6-9) in Geelong 66-72 on Saturday. Forward George Blagojevic (203-1997, college: Hartford) notched 25 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Demarcus Gatlin (193-1992, college: SHSU, agency: IceBasket) supported him with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Even 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by forward Mason Gaze (198-2001, college: Lindenwood) did not help to save the game for Melbourne T. . Center Jack Whitbourn (210-2006) added 17 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Geelong U. moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with NW Tasmania. Loser Tigers dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. They share it with Warwick S. and Perry Lakes H..
