There was no surprise when 18th rankedKilsyth Cobras (3-12) lost at home to second ranked Mount Gambier Pioneers (12-4) 90-81 on Saturday. Forward Akech Aliir (200-2000) notched 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all five shots) to lead the effort and international swingman Nick Marshall (196-1999, college: Clarke) supported him with 21 points and 4 assists. Even 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists by swingman Corey Jeffs (203-1994, college: Winona St.) did not help to save the game for Kilsyth C. . Center Timothy Lang (206-1985, college: Stetson) added 16 points and 4 assists for lost side. Kilsyth Cobras' coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
