No shocking result in a game when second rankedSabres (12-4) beat 13th ranked NW Tasmania Thunder (6-9) in Ulverstone 94-80 on Saturday. The former international guard Tanner Krebs (198-1996, college: SMC) notched 18 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and New Zealand guard Shea Ili (184-1992) supported him with 18 points and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws). Even 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) by American forward Sekou Sylla (195-2000, college: Towson) did not help to save the game for NW Tasmania . Guard Tre Armstrong (198-2000, college: CBU) added 21 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Five Sandringham S. and four NW Tasmania players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sabres have an impressive nine-game winning streak.
