There was no surprise in Geelong where 16th ranked Cavaliers (4-15) were defeated by seventh ranked United (11-7) 92-80 on Friday. Geelong U. forced 19 Casey turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Shaneice Swain (175-2003) who scored 30 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Sarah Elsworthy (171-1998) chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Alexandra Wittinger produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds and New Zealand guard Lauryn Hippolite (174-2000) added 20 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Five Geelong U. and four Casey players scored in double figures. United have an impressive seven-game winning streak.
