Regular Season Round 13: Camberwell - Wyndham D. 52-75

Big V top team - Devils (16-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Camberwell (1-16) in Melbourne 75-52. Wyndham D. forced 28 Camberwell turnovers. American guard Amanda Paschal (170-1996, college: Kentucky) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and center Tanielle Knight (185-2004) chipped in 12 points and 11 rebounds. Paschal is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Devils players scored in double figures. At the losing side Eleni Valos responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds and Rachael Smith scored 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Devils have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. Wyndham D. maintains first place with 16-1 record. Camberwell at the other side stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Wyndham D. are looking forward to face Hume City B. (#9) in Tullamarine in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Camberwell will play at home against Sherbrooke S. and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
