There was no surprise in Melbourne where 10th rankedVikings (5-14) were defeated by second ranked Devils (14-4) 125-112 on Saturday. Wyndham made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Troyce Manassa (193-1993, college: SSU) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 5 assists and forward Adetomi Ayilara (208-1998, college: Cloud County) who added 23 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Devils players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Kortland Martin (180, college: FHU) responded with 43 points (!!!) and 7 assists (on 17-of-21 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import guard James Legan (190-1987, college: ECU) scored 26 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Vikings' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Wyndham keeps a position of league leader. Loser Vikings keeps the tenth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Camberwell.
