Samoa and Tahiti reach the semis in New Caledonia

Quarterfinals

Samoa - New Caledonia 120-50
Samoa crushed New Caledonia to reach the semifinal in Paita. Samoa claimed a massive 60:20 halftime lead. They added 60 points in the second half to rally to the win. Hinckley Scanlan (180-G-03) produced 20 points, while Jordan Brunt (188-SF-03) added 19 points for Samoa. Brian Taputu (02) replied with 11 points for New Caledonia.

Guam - Tahiti 55-71
Tahiti knocked down Guam to reach the semifinal stage. Tahiti accumulated a 35:22 halftime lead. They boosted the margin in the third term to clear off for good. Harevaa Hatitio (190-C-02) produced 14 points and 20 rebounds, while Liam Fareata (185-SF-02) added 13 points for Tahiti. Elijah-Joaquin Cruz (175-G-04) answered with 23 points for Guam.

7-8 Place

Papua New Guinea - Cook Islands 65-62
Papua New Guinea beat Cook Islands to earn the 7th position at the championship. Jimmy Struik (180-G-02) delivered 21 points and 7 rebounds, while Morea Elavo (175-SG-03) added 12 points for Papua New Guinea. John Woonton (04) replied with 15 points for Cook Islands.
