Jets add Minnie to their roster

Manawatu Jets (NBL) added to their roster 25-year old American swingman Elijah Minnie (206-96kg-94, college: EMU). He played last summer at Rio de Janeiro in Eurobasket Summer League in Chicago, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. In 30 ESL games he recorded 13.4ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.1apg. Minnie played in the final of Eurobasket Summer League in Chicago. He was voted All-MAC Honorable Mention in 2019 at his college time.
Minnie graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2019 and it will be his first season as a professional player.
