Nuggets sign a second USA player, ex Cairns

Otago Nuggets (NBL) landed 27-year old American 193cm guard Tahjere McCall (college: Tennessee State) for new season. McCall joins another USA player Keith Williams who is already in the roster.
He played recently at Cairns Taipans in Australian NBL league. In 22 games he averaged impressive 16.1ppg, 5.5rpg, 5.5apg and 2.0spg last season. The last summer he played at the Magic in NBA where in four games he had 6.0ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.5apg.
Last year (2021 years after his graduation) Lakeland Magic selected him as fifth overall pick in G-League draft.
He graduated from Tennessee State in 2017 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. McCall has played also professionally in France (Entente Orleans 45), NBA (Brooklyn Nets), NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks and Long Island Nets) and NBA Summer League (Atlanta Hawks).
