Manawatu Jets (NBL) added to their roster 25-year old American (has also Jordanian passport) forward Zane Najdawi (201cm-100kg-1996, college: Citadel).

Najdawi played last season at Al Wihdat in Jordanian Premier League. In 15 games he recorded 11.1ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.5apg, 1.3spg and 1.0bpg. He helped them to win the league title.

Najdawi also played for Damex UDEA Algeciras in Spanish LEB Silver where in 11 games he averaged 13.9ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.0apg. He has been regularly called to Jordanian Senior National Team since 2020.


Najdawi has played also professionally in Spain (Jairis).
He graduated from Citadel in 2019 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.
