Joshua Turner (ex Al Naser) joins Sharks

Southland Sharks (NBL) agreed terms with 32-year old American point guard Joshua Turner (193cm-88kg-1992, college: Calgary) for new 2024 season. Turner played last season at Al Naser in UAE ULB league. He helped them to make it to the UAE League final after they ended regular season as second best team.
Turner is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit five different continents, while he played in twelve different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America. Turner has played previously professionally in Canada, Colombia (Barrancabermeja Ciudad Futuro), Germany (Recklinghausen), Iraq (Al Shurtah), Kosovo (Trepca), Mexico (Pioneros Los Mochis), Montenegro (Ibar), Morocco (AMIB Casablanca), Romania (Marmatiei), Slovenia (Elektra), Czech Republic (GBA Lions) and Dominican Republic (Soles).
He was voted to CanWest All-Rookie Team back in 2014.
Turner graduated from University of Calgary in 2014 and it will be his tenth season as a professional player.
