Best players of New Zealand NBL round 25

Talented Carlin Davison (197-SF-2003) had a very impressive game in the last round for Taranaki Airs and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
The 22-year old had a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Nuggets (#11, 3-17) 93-83. Airs maintains the 4th position in New Zealand NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Airs will need more victories to improve their 12-8 record. In the team's last game Davison had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Airs, through which he has constantly improved. Davison has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (6th best: 5.9apg) and averages solid 56.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American swingman Buay Tuach (198-G/F-1995, agency: Haylett Sports) of Auckland Tuatara. Tuach impressed basketball fans with 29 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led Tuatara to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Hawks (#10, 7-13) 96-67. This victory allowed Tuatara to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 10-10 record is not bad and everything may still change. Tuach is one of the most experienced players at Tuatara and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Isaac Miller-Jose (203-F-1998) of Manawatu Jets (#8). Miller-Jose scored 13 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (!!!). Despite Miller-Jose's great performance the Jets lost 95-101 to the lower-ranked Nuggets (#11, 3-17). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Jets ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 11 games, recording just nine victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Miller-Jose could help Jets to bring them higher in the standings. Miller-Jose has a very solid season. In 17 games in New Zealand he scored 9.2ppg. He also has 5.7rpg and a FGP of 63.9%.

10. Tohi Smith-Milner (205-F-1995) of Rams - 17 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
