Airs add Xavier Green to their roster, ex Freseros

Xavier Green

Taranaki Airs (NBL) added 29-year-old American forward Xavier Green (198cm-91kg-1996, college: Maryland, agency: One Motive Sports) to their roster for the 2026 season. He played last summer at Freseros in Mexican LNBP. In 10 games, he recorded 6.7ppg and 4.3rpg.
He is a highly experienced player. Green has also played professionally in Finland (Nokia), Switzerland (Fribourg), Norway (Kongsberg), and The Basketball Tournament (Shell Shock). He played in the final of the Swiss League in 2025.
Among many awards, he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Norwegian BLNO Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com All-Norwegian BLNO Import Player of the Year during 2023.
Green graduated from the University of Maryland in 2022 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player. He played for Old Dominion University for 5 years as well.
