There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Pouakai (0-5) was defeated on the road by third ranked Kahu (4-2) 99-87 on Wednesday. Kahu made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Iimari Thomas (178-2000, college: UCLA) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Tera Reed (183-1998, college: USC) who added 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Kahu players scored in double figures. At the losing side American swingman Jasmine Dickey (175-2000, college: Delaware, agency: LBM Management) responded with 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and American-Montenegrin power forward Natasha Mack (193-1997, college: OK State, agency: LBM Management) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds.
