France wrap up Olympic Qualifying Tournament undefeated

France recorded the third straight win at the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Xi’an. They stormed past New Zealand to finish unbeaten. Gabrielle Williams (180-F-1996, college: UConn) nailed 21 points to lead the winners.
France set the tone in the first half. They went on a massive 61-17 rally in the first twenty minutes to secure a comfortable lead before the second half. France limited their opponents to just 22 points in the second half and eased to the win. Dominique Malonga (198-C-2005) tossed in 13 points for the Europeans. Esra McGoldrick (188-F-1999, college: NC State) answered with 10 points for New Zealand.
