Penina Davidson (ex N. Kahu) signs at Cathay Life

Penina Davidson

Cathay Life Tigers (WSBL) landed 29-year old New Zealander international 190cm forward Penina Davidson (college: California). She played recently at N. Kahu in New Zealand Tauihi Basketball Aoteroa.
She also represented New Zealand at the FIBA Asia Cup for Women in Sydney (Australia) two years ago. Her team got to the Semifinals and she had almost 14 points per game.
Davidson has played previously professionally also in Australia (Adelaide Lightning, Boomers, Spectres, Dolphins and Thunder) and New Zealand (Breeze).
Among many awards she played in the final of Australian NBL1 South in 2024. She was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-FIBA Asia Cup Honorable Mention back in 2021.
Davidson graduated from University of California in 2018 and it will be her seventh season in pro basketball.
