Nelson Giants (NBL) inked 29-year old American 201cm power forward Jeremy Combs (college: Texas Southern). Combs played recently at Tokushima Gambarous in Japanese B3 League. In 28 games he averaged impressive 16.3ppg, 8.7rpg, 2.6apg and 1.2spg last season.
He is a very experienced player. Combs has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to five different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Australia (Flames), Israel (Hapoel Ramat Gan Givataim and Maccabi Hod Hasharon), Sweden (Koping Stars), Vietnam (Combsat) and The Basketball Tournament (HBC Utd).
Among many awards his team made it to the B League D3 Semifinals in 2024. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D3 Honorable Mention in 2024.
Combs graduated from Texas Southern University in 2019 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like: Louisiana State University, University of North Texas.
