New Zealand - Korea 76-78

Korea overcame New Zealand 78-76 in Day 2 opener of the FIBA Asia Cup 2025. They dominated the first three quarters and enjoyed a 64-53 lead with 10 minutes to go. Emilia Shearer (178-F-2002) helped New Zealand to tie the game at 76-76 with 12 seconds to go, however they fell short in the game. Ji-Su Park (195-C-1998) drove a lay-up at the very end to bring the win for Korea.
Isaem Choi stepped up with 23 points and Jihyun Park (180-F-2000) netted 20. Emilia Shearer replied with 22 points in the losing effort.
