Runnin'Rebels land Walter Brown, ex Rams

University of Nevada - Las Vegas has landed 22-year old New Zealander international 6-5 forward Walter Brown for the new season. He most recently played for Rams in the New Zealand NBL league. In 18 games he played, he averaged 13.5ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.9apg, and 1.3spg last season. He helped Rams finish the regular season as the second-best team in the league and advance to the league semifinals. Prior to that, he played for JackJumpers in the Australian NBL. Brown has been a regular member of the New Zealand Senior National Team since 2022.
He won the Australian League championship title in 2024.
