Olympiacos Piraeus (A1) agreed terms with 28-year old Israeli-New Zealand international forward Danielle Raber (183cm-1996) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. She played last season at Cockburn in the Australian NBL One. In 20 games just recently, she had very impressive stats: 17.6ppg, 9.8rpg, 5.0apg, and 2.7spg. She also played for another Australian team, United (WNBL), in the Australian league.
Raber has been a member of the Israeli international program for some years. She has regularly played for the Israeli senior team since 2016 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2014.
Raber has played also in Romania (ASC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe) and Israel (Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan, Elitzur Ramla, ASA Jerusalem, Elitzur Holon and Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion).
Among many awards, she played in the final of Australian NBL1 West in 2024. She was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Bosman Player of the Year back in 2022.
