Snyder comes back to Whai, ex Nunawading S.

Whai (Tauihi Basketball Aoteroa) added to their roster 29-year old American power forward Laina Snyder (185cm-1995, college: Ashland, agency: Elite Basketball Agents). It is actually her comeback to Whai as she has played here before. She played this summer at Nunawading Spectres in Australian NBL One. In 22 games she just recently played she recorded 8.6ppg, 10.7rpg, 2.6apg and 1.6spg.
She is a very experienced player. Thanks to her pro career, she managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Australia, and North America) in five different countries. Snyder has played professionally in Germany (LionPride and ALBA Berlin), Greece (Niki Lefkadas), Luxembourg (Amicale and T71 Dudelange), and New Zealand (Hoiho).
She won the New Zealand Tauihi Basketball Aoteroa championship title in 2024. She was also voted the Australiabasket.com All-New Zealand Tauihi Basketball Aoteroa Center of the Year in 2022.
Snyder graduated from Ashland University in 2018 and it'll be her ninth season as a pro player.
