Bottom-ranked Kahu is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their ninth consecutive match to second ranked Queens (6-4) 84-59 on Friday evening. The winners were led by Penina Davidson who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points and 21 rebounds. Even 11 points and 7 rebounds by Erin Bollmann did not help to save the game for N. Kahu. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tokomanawa Q. maintains second position with 6-4 record having just one point less than leader Whai, which they share with Mainland P. and S. Hoiho. N. Kahu at the other side still closes the standings with nine games lost. Tokomanawa Q. will meet at home league's leader Whai in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. N. Kahu will play against the league's leader Whai (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
