Best players of New Zealand Tauihi Basketball Aoteroa round 10

Australian Hannah Hank (188-F-2001) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's second-best Whai and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 24-year old forward had a double-double of 23 points and 17 rebounds, while her team beat S. Hoiho (7-5) 93-84. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Whai is placed at 2nd position in New Zealand Tauihi Basketball Aoteroa. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Whai will need more victories to improve their 7-5 record. In the team's last game Hank had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. She turned to be Whai's top player in her first season with the team. Clemson University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hank is in league's top in points (3rd best: 19.5ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 9.3rpg) and averages solid 51.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Australian point guard Kristy Wallace (180-PG-1996, agency: LBM Management) of league's best team Tokomanawa Queens. Wallace impressed basketball fans with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course she led Queens to another comfortable win 88-72 over the lower-ranked N. Kahu (#5, 1-11) being unquestionably team leader. Of course Tokomanawa Q. still keep the league's top spot. Her team has currently 8-4 record. Wallace is a newcomer at Tokomanawa Q. and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.9ppg (#2). Her other stats are also decent: 4.7rpg and 6.6apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Haliegh Reinoehl (188-F-1998) of Northern Kahu (#5). Reinoehl scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Despite Reinoehl's great performance the Kahu lost 62-102 to slightly higher-ranked Mainland P. (#3, 7-5). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. N. Kahu can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-11 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Reinoehl has individually a great season in New Zealand. After 12 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.9ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 7.6rpg (8th best).
