Alex Holcombe (ex Wyndham) joins Jets

Alex Holcombe

Manawatu Jets (NBL) agreed terms with 28-year old American power forward Alex Holcombe (206cm-113kg-1998, college: DBU). He started the season at Wyndham in Australian Big V. In two games just recently he had 8.5ppg and 4.5rpg.
He is quite an experienced player. His career allowed him to visit five different continents, while he played in six different countries. Holcombe tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, and of course North America. He has played professionally in Bosnia (KK Radnicki Gorazde), Kazakhstan (Tobol), Kuwait (Sulaibikhat), Mexico (Reyes), and Montenegro (Pljevlja).
Holcombe played in the final of the CIT Tournament in 2017.
He graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2022 and is in his fourth season as a professional player. Holcombe played for other colleges such as Youngstown State University, Panola College, and Texas A&M University Corpus Christi.
