An interesting game forTownsville Fire (12-5) which hosted in Townsville 4th placed United (6-11). Third ranked Townsville Fire had an easy win 89-70 . They maintain third place with 12-5 record having five points less than leader Bendigo. Newly promoted Geelong U. keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Canberra. Townsville are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Southside (#8) in Dandenong in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Geelong U. will play at home against Canberra (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
