Regular Season Round 2: Lakeside L. - Warwick S. 79-117

Date: April 5, 2025
There was a surprise result in North Lake where Senators outscored Lightning 117-79 on Saturday. Warwick S. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Elijah Pepper (193-2001, college: UC Davis) who scored 50 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Swingman George Pearl (194-2002) chipped in 16 points. Forward Corey Shervill (201-1998, college: St.Edward's) produced 20 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Isaiah Lewis (185-1997, college: RWU) added 19 points respectively for the hosts. Four Lakeside L. players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Senators will meet at home Rockingham F. in the next round. Lightning will play against Mandurah and hope to win that game.
