Regular Season Round 3: Waverley F. - Geelong U. 56-77

Date: April 11, 2025
No shocking result in a game in Mount Waverley where United (4-0) outleveled Falcons (2-2) 77-56 on Friday. Geelong U. outrebounded Waverley F. 44-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Hannah Hank (188-2001, college: Clemson) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). The former international guard Jazmin Shelley (175-2000, college: Nebraska) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Liana Kinkela who recorded 12 points and 6 rebounds and forward Sophia Locandro (190-2001, college: UC Irvine) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
