There was no surprise in Marden whereNorwood Flames (0-3) were defeated by Bearcats (2-1) 83-66 on Friday. W.Adelaide B. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Norwood Flames 's 34. It was a great evening for naturalized New Zealand guard Keanu Rasmussen (188-2003, college: CBU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Naturalized South Sudanese forward Lat Mayen (206-1998, college: Nebraska) helped adding 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Bearcats players scored in double figures. Bearcats' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Walter Mcbride with 20 points and 9 rebounds and American center Anthony Green (208-1996, college: Northeastern) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds.
