Regular Season Round 3: Warwick S. - Rockingham F. 74-82

There was a surprise result in Perth where Flames (1-2) defeated Senators (1-1) 82-74 on Saturday. Rockingham F. forced 19 Warwick S. turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Alexandra Sharp (182-1997, college: Wake Forest) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Alex Ciabattoni (180-1994, college: Newman) chipped in 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Flames' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Stacey Barr (173-1992, college: Idaho) who recorded a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds and guard Chloe Forster (176-2003) added 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Flames will meet Willetton T. (#8) on the road in the next round. Senators will play against Joondalup W. and hope to win that game.
