Not a big story in a game in Adelaide where Panthers (1-2) were defeated by Sabres (3-0) 67-56 on Saturday. Sturt S. forced 24 S.Adelaide P. turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Katia Stamatelopoulos (173, college: Colorado St.) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Tahlia Griffiths chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Isabella Stratford (174-2001) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Ashleigh Spencer (181-1992) added 18 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Four S.Adelaide P. players scored in double figures. Sabres will meet at home Norwood F. (#5) in the next round. Panthers will play against C.Districts L. in Gawler and hope to win that game.
