Regular Season Round 3: Maitland M. - Hills H. 70-58

Mustangs used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Baulkham Hills 70-58 on Saturday night. Maitland forced 25 Hills H. turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Shakera Reilly (178-1999) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Kasey Neubert (185, college: San Diego) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. Four Mustangs players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized New Zealand swingman Jade Kirisome (175-2000, college: SMC) who recorded 10 points and 6 rebounds and Lucy Corke added 14 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
