Regular Season Round 3: Keysborough - RMIT 91-83

The most important game of round 3 was a defeat of Redbacks (3-1). They were defeated by Cougars (3-1) 91-83 on Saturday night. Keysborough had a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American point guard Anthony Williams (178-1995, college: Clark Atlanta) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists. His fellow American import forward Gerrard Newby (196-1995, college: Union, KY) helped adding 19 points and 10 rebounds. Williams is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was Milan Savic with 23 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Darnell Hoskins Jr (180, college: SVSU, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) scored 21 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Redbacks will play next round against Pakenham trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Cougars will try to continue on its current victory against Bellarine on the road.
