Regular Season Round 3: HKBA Spiders - Sydney C. 60-87
Date: April 13, 2025
No shocking result in a game in Hornsby whereSydney City Comets (3-1) smashed Spiders (0-3) 87-60 on Sunday. Sydney C. outrebounded HKBA Spiders 49-36 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sydney C. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Anthony Mundine (167-2005) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points. Naturalized British forward Obi Kyei (206-1994, college: Eckerd) helped adding 11 points and 19 rebounds. Four Sydney City Comets players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Daniel Titus (203-2000, college: Coppin St.) with 12 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Mohamed Kone (188, college: Bemidji St.) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
