Regular Season Round 3: Melbourne - Dandenong R. 82-80

Round 3 most important game was a defeat of Rangers (4-1). They were edged by Boomers (2-2) 82-80 on Sunday night. Melbourne looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for the former international guard Isobel Borlase (180-2004) who led her team to a victory scoring 20 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. The former international forward Sara Blicavs (189-1993) helped adding 21 points and 8 rebounds. Boomers' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was swingman Georgia Booth (174-2003) with 22 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Dallas Loughridge (167-2004) scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Four Dandenong R. players scored in double figures. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
