There was a minor upset in Kilsyth where 11th rankedLady Cobras (2-4) were outplayed by fourteenth ranked Hawks (2-2) 106-53 on Thursday. Ringwood dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Lady Cobras 's 24. Ringwood forced 22 Kilsyth turnovers and outrebounded them 49-35 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Sarah Elsworthy (171-1998) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Nyaduoth Lok who added 16 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Five Hawks players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ringwood moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 11 other teams. Loser Lady Cobras dropped to the fourteenth position with four games lost.
