The game between second rankedSuns (5-2) and fifth ranked Cougars Suns were crushed by Cougars in Upwey 97-77 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Suns. McKinnon C. outrebounded Sherbrooke S. 40-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. McKinnon C. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American guard Emily Lytle (180-1997, college: Virginia Tech) stepped up and scored 27 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winners and Lee Burch chipped in 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Cougars players scored in double figures. American guard Oliana Squires (175-1998, college: Montana St.) responded with 23 points and 5 assists and Melissa Prior produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. McKinnon C. maintains fifth place with 4-3 record. Sherbrooke S. at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost.
