Not a big story in a game when 11th rankedLightning (2-6) was outscored by fourth ranked Tigers (5-2) in Willetton 107-73 on Saturday. Willetton T. forced 19 Lakeside L. turnovers. Strangely Lakeside L. outrebounded Willetton T. 49-37 including 20 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Lakeside L. 's players. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Taeshon Cherry (203-1999, college: Marian, IN, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) who led the winners and scored 24 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import guard Tyreese Davis (198-1999, college: EWU) accounted for 17 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Forward Corey Shervill (201-1998, college: St.Edward's) came up with 25 points and 7 rebounds and forward Joshua Davey (198-2000, college: LCU) added 11 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Lakeside L. in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Willetton T. moved-up to third place, which they share with Mandurah. Loser Lightning dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with N.Adelaide R. and Norwood F..
