There was no surprise when 17th rankedNW Tasmania Thunder (3-7) lost to tenth ranked Spectres (5-4) in Ulverstone 71-84 on Saturday. Nunawading S. made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American forward BJ Mack (203-2000, college: S.Carolina) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Christian DAngelo (191-2003) accounted for 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Lachlan Barker (188-1996) came up with 20 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Tyler Harris (201-2001, college: Richmond) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for NW Tasmania in the defeat. NW Tasmania Thunder's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Nunawading S. moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Kilsyth C. NW Tasmania lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with seven games lost.
