Very expected game in Bunbury where bottom-rankedSlammers (0-9) were crushed by second ranked Flames (8-1) 116-83 on Friday. Rockingham F. dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Slammers ' 30. Rockingham F. outrebounded SW Slammers 54-29 including a 22-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Rockingham F. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward LaQuinton Ross (203-1992, college: Ohio St.) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Flames have an impressive six-game winning streak.
