There was no surprise when bottom-rankedRollers (0-3) were outleveled by fourth ranked Thunder (3-1) in Gold Coast 87-66 on Saturday. Logan T. made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Gold Coast R. 's players. The winners were led by American Leah Scott (183-1993, college: Marshall) who scored that evening 20 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Mikhaela Cann (177-1994) supported her with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 14 assists. Five Thunder players scored in double figures. Thunder's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 23 points and 6 rebounds by guard Katie Deeble (173-2003, college: Wake Forest) did not help to save the game for Gold Coast R. . Juna Umezawa added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Thunder have a solid three-game winning streak. Logan T. moved-up to third place. Loser Rollers still closes the standings with three games lost. They share the position with SW Metro P..
