Regular Season Round 8: Albury W.B. - Cent.Coast C. 100-86

There was a surprise result in Albury where sixteenth rankedBandits (2-7) defeated higher ranked Crusaders (4-5) 100-86 on Saturday. Strangely Cent.Coast C. outrebounded Albury W.B. 52-39 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Matthew Gray (203-1999) who had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds. American forward Ahren Freeman (201, college: UTRGV, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 28 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Lino Manhom (213-1998, college: UTPB) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds and forward Klairus Amir (204-2005) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Albury W.B. moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Lakeside L. Loser Crusaders dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
