There was a minor upset in Hornsby where 12th rankedFalcons (3-6) were edged by fifteenth ranked Spiders (2-6) 80-77 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American guard Mohamed Kone (188, college: Bemidji St.) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists. Forward Daniel Titus (203-2000, college: Coppin St.) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Spiders' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Myles Cherry (203-1998, college: Lafayette) produced 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and naturalized British forward Ryan Beisty (200-1995, college: Regis Univ.) added 22 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Newcastle F. players scored in double figures. HKBA Spiders moved-up to ninth place, which they share with N.Adelaide R. and Norwood F. Loser Falcons dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. They share it with Perth R. and Inner WB.
