Very predictable result when third rankedBA CoE (8-2) won against 12th ranked Bruins (2-8) in Canberra 92-83 on Sunday. BA CoE made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. The winners were led by forward Zara Russell (185-2007) who scored that evening 31 points and 9 rebounds and forward Sitaya Fagan (189-2008) supported her with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Five BA CoE players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds by American center Jada Rice (193-1999, college: Alabama) did not help to save the game for Bankstown B. . Her fellow American import guard Juliunn Redmond (180-1998, college: Illinois St.) added 21 points and 8 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for the guests. Bruins' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. BA CoE moved-up to second place, which they share with Keilor T.
