Not a big story in a game in Melbourne where 11th rankedVikings (1-7) were outplayed by second ranked Cougars (8-1) 92-71 on Sunday. Keysborough forced 22 Blackburn turnovers and outrebounded them 44-28 including 20 on the offensive glass. Keysborough looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Benjamin Okhotin (198-1999, college: PLNU, agency: Warren Sports International) who led his team to a victory scoring 33 points (!!!). His fellow American import forward Gerrard Newby (196-1995, college: Union, KY) helped adding 25 points and 8 rebounds. Four Cougars players scored in double figures. Cougars' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side forward Athiaan Manyiel (201, college: LSUE) responded with 16 points and 7 rebounds and American guard James Legan (190-1987, college: ECU) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Cougars have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Keysborough keeps a position of league leader. Blackburn lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with seven games lost. They share the position with Camberwell.
