Townsville F. outrebounded Ipswich F. 43-32 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. American center Samantha Bowman (188, college: CWU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 18 rebounds for the winners and forward Chailee Ward (180-2003) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Flames players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Kahlaijah Dean (168-1999, college: Sacramento St.) with 28 points and guard Elissa Brett (155, college: Michigan, agency: LBM Management) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Townsville F. moved-up to fourth place. Loser Force dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with Cairns D. and SC Phoenix.
